Quilts for Kids Anonymous

Martha Stellow, GIRESD Administrative Specialist
I was introduced to an older, legally blind lady and her three friends that love to quilt in the fall of 2015. They wanted to know if there were children in our Special Education Program that could use a quilt made by them. There was one stipulation, though. They wanted to remain anonymous. I have been warned that if their identities are revealed there will be no more quilts. These humble, talented ladies have warmed the hearts and bodies of 53 students with the promise of more to come, as long as they are able.
