To streamline our event and meeting scheduling process, GIRESD now uses iiQ Events exclusively for reserving spaces at the Mahoney Center in Ithaca and Winding Brook Conference Centre in Shepherd. This system helps ensure accuracy, consistency, and ease of access for all staff and all outside groups. GIRESD will no longer take phone or email reservations. You must follow the steps below. If you have any problems, please reach out to Shelly Jones at 989-828-6077.

1. Log in to iiQ Events by clicking the iiQ Events button below using your login credentials. Internal staff will use the Google SSO option. All external users will need to use login credentials. First time users will need to create an account.

2. If you created a new account, you won't have an organization linked to you. You can search to see if your organization exists.

   1. If it does exist, click "Not associated with an organization? Skip this step"

   2. If it doesn't exist, you will need to create a new organization. You will be required to submit your work insurance policy information.

3. If you are an internal user, select "Events". If not, move on to step 4.

4. Enter event details - fill in the required fields - event name, date/time, location, number of attendees, any special set up or equipment needs.

5. Submit for Approval - Once all details are entered, click "Submit" Your request will be reviewed and approved by the Event Scheduling Team.

6. Confirmation - You'll receive a confirmation email once your event is approved. If any changes are needed, you'll be contacted directly.
