Aside from the regulatory and auditing functions involving State reporting and pupil accounting, this department provides a range of assistance to area school districts in management consultation, financial and student data processing services, and school law compliance. 

Internally, the Business/Finance Department handles payroll, employee benefits, budget development and management, accounts payable and human resources.
