Great Start Collaborative

Imagine what the world would be like if all children and families had the support they need to reach their full potential.  The Great Start Collaborative is here to make that vision a reality!  We aim to achieve that goal by focusing on these four outcomes:

  1. Children are born healthy.

  2. Children are healthy, thriving, and developmentally on track from birth to third grade.

  3. Children are developmentally ready to succeed in school at the time of school entry.

  4. Children are prepared to succeed in fourth grade and beyond by reading proficiently by the end of third grade.

In order to achieve these outcomes, the Great Start Collaborative brings together parents/caregivers and professionals in healthcare, early education, childcare, and social services.  Together, we create resources and develop projects to support families and children so we can help all children thrive!
