Due to the recent approval of the Fiscal Year 2026 State Budget, which includes the removal of the categorical funding for statewide Great Start Collaboratives (GSC), the Gratiot Isabella RESD Great Start Collaborative (GSC) will cease operations as of December 31, 2025.
We are deeply grateful to our community partners and local school districts for their dedication and collaboration in supporting the young children and families in our two counties. In preparation for the cessation of operations, key functions and resources previously managed by the GSC have been transitioned to various community partners.
