Teachers learning about using clothesline math to support their students.
Teachers placing their secret numbers on the clothesline and trying to guess each others number. Learning new tools to support students is so much fun!
Educators from Gratiot and Isabella Counties toured Alma Tire Companies, CMU Athletics, and Konwinski Construction yesterday. The Educator to Industry Tour allows educators to learn more about local employers through on-site visits and presentations at local businesses. All three businesses gave extensive tours of their facilities, which allowed educators to gain perspective on how to connect their classroom content standards to real world applications and business practices so that students have a better sense of the connection from school to work.
