GIRESD Special Education Staff and local district colleagues participated in a training with David Opalewski, founder of Grief Recovery, who presented on Communicating with a Person in Suicidal Crisis: Leading with the Right. Together we can create hope through action!


GIRESD sincerely appreciates our partnership with the United Way of Gratiot and Isabella Counties! It was great to have Eli Hall and Tiffany Eisenberger present to us on Opening Day!

Opening Week for our GIRESD team started off with an outdoor "Welcome Back" presentation. It was great to have our team together!


Potters Park Zoo hosted our Deaf Blind and Visually Impaired students this summer. They let us behind the scenes to manipulate lots of different animal items and gave us a tour!
