Josh Boutwell and Kiley Kochensparger promoted physical activity in the household for the families in Gratiot County at Project Connect, the Health and Safety Back to School Fair. Physical activity has many benefits for adults and children. The event took place on August 14th at the Gratiot County Fair for Youth. Each child received a jump rope and other gifts to take home with them. The kids participated in a jump rope contest to see how many jumps they can do in a minute.
Promoted was InPACT at Home, a free evidence and home based program that enables K-12 students to engage in health enhancing physical activity with their families.
