
On May 8th at the Devos Place in Grand Rapids, the Great Lakes Homeland Security Conference offered a School Track day for school officials to learn more on school safety topics. The topics included: Molly Hudgens of Sycamore Middle School telling her story of averting a school attack, the Stop Trafficking Project, I Love You Guys Foundation and school recovery.

GI-TEC and GIRESD Career Navigators welcomed 900 seventh grade students from Gratiot and Isabella Counties to tour the Mt. Pleasant campus. Students were given a chance to see and learn about all the programs that are offered to them in their junior and senior years.
